Crispy sweet, mild tasting, fine texture, thin skin, no peeling required.

Summer squashes - Sunburst, Zephyr.

27 Harvest Monday September 20, 2010 這幾天收什麼
Cantaloupe, winter melon, bitter melons, beans, peppers, figs.

28 Chayote and chayote shoots, Romano beans.
終於收到佛手瓜了﹐也摘些苗﹐免得全都凍死啥都沒得吃。
那些意大利扁豆好吃喔。

29 Winter Melons 冬瓜
I harvested a total of 17 winter melons this year, gave some to friends, there are 5 more at the old house.

30 Pick more chayotes today, a good size kohlrabi and some Swiss chard. Everything is slowing down this time of the year, night temps in the 30s and frost is expected tonight and the next couple days.

好一個沙漠園丁~Mac

偶這輩子沒去過沙漠
對沙漠的印象訊息仍是滿天風砂，一毛不拔，寸草難生
缺水，太陽大到一下子就能把人烤乾的地方
偶一分鐘都不想待

真的想不通Mac是怎麼辦到的

沙漠都能種出這麼豐富翠綠的蔬果
就當是個蔬果的生養教材
狼們
盡量發問、討教

沒道理種不好健康又漂亮的蔬果
一起為家人的健康
