每年我家的聖誕樹上都會掛上我做的手工裝飾品,
每年我都會找資料做幾件新的,變變花樣,
也因為這樣, 幾年下來, 樹上掛的都是外面買不到的手工品.
照片上的是去年利用一種叫 Tatting 的編織手藝,
是在10幾年前跟我的美國乾媽學的.
Tatting 中文名稱叫梭殼編, 主要的工具就是一個小梭殼 (在圖下方長針下).
去年想把很久沒用的 Tatting 複習一下, 結果因為太久沒用, 都快忘光了.
正當我在網上找相關資料時,
看到有關新的改良的 Tatting 技術 – needle tatting (圖中的長針),
用的是一根約5英吋的長針取代傳統的梭殼, 看來比傳統的技術更容易上手,
既然我有tatting 的底子, 應該還不難. 就這樣, 買了一本參考書和針,
加上網路上找來的pattern, 自己研究長針梭編. 就編了這幾個花環和天使.

AmyY, I've resized your two photos in the two articles that you posted because they stretched out of the windows. Hope you don't mind. Since I'll be on vacation, just in case you need to do it yourself, here is how: If you see something like this next time, you can follow the following step to resize the future pictures in a smaller size, which can fit into the post window. 1. At the bottom of the post, click the icon 'Modify', you will then be leaded to the post edit window. 2. Choose the Content Edit with WYS/WYG Editor. Now you will be able to see the post exact like the one you posted earlier as well as the picture(s). 3. Move the mouse to the picture and click once. You will then see 8 ticks on the 4 corners of the picture as well as the 4 mid-points of each boundary. 4. Move your mouse to the corner tick (any of them) and hold the click and drag inward/outward to resize the posted pictures. Hope this helps! You have magic hands! -Blu
Dear All, 謝謝大家的回應, 我只是很喜歡DIY, 這些小作品僅屬於休閒級. Tahai - 很難得碰到也做tatting的耶, 因為這項手藝是很古早的. Carriec - 照片很快就會飛到你家了. Spot - 謝謝上傳. ++ - 有個典故, 小時後每到七夕, 我媽都會準備脂粉, 洗面水給織女, 然後再用那水給我洗臉, 就是希望我長大後會像織女一樣. 明年七夕你也可以照辦 (有女兒的媽媽們也可試試.) N-Y - Tatting 做書籤是真的很好看喔, 我知道在日本也有人在做這項手藝. Blue - That's okay.
